This department provides for the planning functions of the city. Zoning enforcement along with building and electrical inspections are also provided by this department. Subdivision regulations within the city and within a two mile radius outside the city are controlled by this department. Permits are handled through the city (606-365-4500). Inspections are done through the county (606-365-4507).
